On Tuesday, July 11th, at 7.30pm, several artists (among them Julio Pane, Néstor Marconi, Tito Reyes, Hernán Reinaudo, Javier “Cardenal” Domínguez, Pablo Mainetti, César Angeleri, Aníbal Arias, Osvaldo Montes, Ernesto Baffa Alfredo Piro and Rubén Juárez) will gather to pay a tribute to Aníbal Troilo. The event, which commemorates the National Bandoneón Day -and of course Pichuco’s anniversary- will be hosted by Pigmalión Casa Tango (Cabrera 4139). Also at this event –with free admission- the famous 90-bandoneones-photography taken in 2004 at the Colon Theater will be signed. Copies of the picture -a large billboard now- will be donated on Bandoneon’s Day, 2017 to all “Buenos Aires Outstanding Bars”.
On the same day, at 7.30pm, the Academia Nacional del Tango will hold a commemorative celebration at the World Museum of Tango (Rivadavia 830). The Academia and the Museum will receive a bandoneon that used to belong to Aníbal Troilo, a gift from Maestro Raúl Garello. Also a screening of a concert by the Orquesta de Estilos Tangueros de la Academia Nacional del Tango, conducted by Maestro Julián Hasse. Admission is free.
