Julio Bocca’s “Boccatango” is touring Central America in March. The celebrated Argentine dancer will be appearing in Costa Rica, Panama and Guatemala after his US presentations.
These performances are perhaps the last that the artist is going to give in the region, since he will possibly retire in 2017. “Boccatango” is playing on March 18th and 19th at the Costa Rican Teatro Popular Melico Salazar, located in the heart of San José. Then, on March 21st, Julio Bocca will delight Panamanians with his dance at the Anayansi hall of the Atlapa Conventions Center, and Guatemalans on the 24th, at the Miguel Angel Asturias National Theater. Bocca’s show features 25 tangos by emblematic composers like Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla.
